\u00a0<\/strong>This is one of those moments where you can look at objective evidence to determine who is telling you the truth. I have said this repeatedly: Meier and his captive, obedient incumbents have raised your taxes more than 7% in just the last two years alone. \u00a0My statements have been met with a torrent of misinformation, most notably the false claim that rising taxes are the fault of DCAD, not Addison\u2019s council.<\/p>\n

So, let\u2019s end the debate with the truth in the form of a picture from one of many DCAD letters sent notifying an owner of their appraised value. Here is proof that Meier, his obedient incumbents and their supporters have indeed been misleading you on this issue:<\/p>\n
